For trade and media reviews, along with a media kit, for the Bonnie and Clyde series, please click here. The first book in this series was published in May 2017, and reviews thus far are very positive. A second book will be published in early 2018. This series is especially pertinent to discussions about rising income inequality in the United States, and presents good opportunities for group reading for new adult readers up to much older readers interested in the era of the Great Depression. For plot synopsis and reviews of The Cowboy and Vampire Collection, please click here. Originally published in 1999 by Llewellyn Worldwide, the first edition of the first book in the series helped to launch the resurgent popularity of vampire metaphor adapted to the angst of the modern era. The ALA's Booklist compared the inaugural book to those of Anne Rice and to Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Since then, the four books of the series have developed a devoted following. More recently, the books of The Cowboy and Vampire Collection have been honored by Kirkus Reviews in the Best Books of 2014, were included in IndieReader's best books of 2016 list and received a silver IPPY medal for 2017 in horror.
